The lagos state commissioner for transport has declared and asserted that very soon, commercial bus drivers will start wearing uniforms and carrying id badges. He even said that the badges will be imprinted on the body of the bus for easy identification.
This he said in a recent interview. But concerning the type and colour of the uniform, he replied that the board under that has not certified it, but the works are still in the pipes.....
The commercial bus drivers must also be re-certified by attending the drivers’ institute, where they will undergo comprehensive tests, which includes vision and driving tests. Nice one...
