FRAUDSTERS SETUP JONATHAN/SAMBO FOUNDATION. DEFRAUDS OVER 100

The Lagos State Police Command is investigating a case of fraud perpetrated by six men, who defrauded hundreds of people in Ketu area of the state.

According to police authorities, the suspects, Dr. Chris Ajakaiye, Atanda Johnson, Morenike Folarin, Ademola Atanda, Soledayo Akinnubunmi and John Ajagbe, set up a foundation at 15 Oluwalogbon Street, Ikosi, known as Goodluck/Sambo Foundation.

PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspects collected money from victims under the guise of keeping them in contact with the Presidency.

TURAI YAR'ADUA WINS PATIENCE JONATHAN OVER LAND DISPUTE

An Abuja High Court on Thursday declared as null and void the revocation of a plot of land allocated to Turai Yar’Adua by the Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT had revoked the Abuja land allocation in favour of  Mrs Patience Jonathan, the current president’s wife.

The court therefore revoked the notice of revocation issued to Turai by the FCT Administration on the plot with the judge, Peter Affen, ruling that taking the land from Turai, wife of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua and reallocating same to Mrs. Jonathan served no public interest.

Affen held that “the revocation issued by the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Sen. Bala Mohammed, was invalid, null and void’’ and that the plaintiff’s (Turai’s) right of occupancy over the 1.84 hectares of land remained valid and subsisting.

Notwithstanding that, i still have final year sunday to contend with. Bloody hell, am acting and also in the choreography performance team. Would i be a funny sight that day is just an understatement or should i say under-question if there is anything like that. The last time i tried acting drama, i went for the rehearsals and when it was a day to the drama i feigned sickness. Now what am i going to feign since they are aware of the last incident. But that aside, we are still filling final the faculty final year week forms and theres a question that is going to be really hard to answer.

PHOTOS FROM GOLDIE'S PROPERTY AUCTION

The properties of the late Susan ‘Goldie’ Harvey were auctioned out yesterday at her residence, Ologunkutere Street, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi. 

The items on display included new and old clothes, handbags, beds, a 72” television, flat and heeled shoes, make-ups, jewellery, mattress, pots, glass cups and many others.

None of the singer’s family or close friends were at the auction yesterday. The auction continues till Friday, May 3, 2013.

CHRIS KELLY MEMEBER OF THE KRIS KROSS GROUP OF THE 90's IS DEAD

Chris Kelly, (pictured left in both photos) a member of the famous 90's rap group, Kris Kross, has died. He was 34 years old. Chris, also known as Mac Daddy, was found unconscious in his Atlanta home yesterday afternoon and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. A police spokeswoman said it appears it may have been a possible drug overdose. Sad.hmmmmm. The way people die these days...... RIP

LIL WAYNE HAS ANOTHER SEIZURE. PROBABLE EPILEPTIC DIAGNOSIS

According to TMZ, rapper Lil Wayne was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A on Tuesday night after suffering another seizure. He was treated and released yesterday morning.

Wayne then did a radio interview yesterday afternoon and explained he's an epileptic, and has been suffering from seizures since he was a kid.

COW ARRESTED FOR MURDER IN OGUN STATE

P.M.NEWS gathered that youths in Ilata Ota were planning to hold a carnival on Saturday 27 April, 2013 and there was an argument between some of the youths which led to a fight and one of the boys identified as Dayo broke a bottle which he used to stab Salako in the neck and he bled to death. 

When the police arrived at the scene of the fracas everyone had fled leaving behind the cow bought for slaughter during the carnival and the police arrested the cow and took it to the station where it is currently being detained. When P.M.NEWS visited Sango Area Command where the incident was reported, both the Area Commander ACP Titi Kayode and the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Sango Division CSP Dibie were not available for comment.

Such student shall be deemed not to have registered for the semester and shall have lost the opportunity to register for the semester”.
